These are photographs I took of things on that hang/rest upon the mantle above my fireplace. I couldn’t help but play around with their compositions through cropping, enhancing, etc. I thought these were pretty cool and reminded me of things I’ve viewed in my Chinese art history course at Agnes, only americanized domestically for the purposes of decorating my bedroom. Hope you’ll comment if you like or dislike, but I’m just experimenting in these. 😛 In my own little imaginary world I like to ponder what this women is doing/ thinking and even further, who the artist is that painted this painting because it is awesome and I got it on etsy from a store who said it came from the estate sale of an art collector.
