A Japanese Maple Tree Inkblot Test…

Tis that time of year…

SPRING.Β With Spring, comes new life; A reminder of earth’s cyclical process for maintaining and surviving. Every Spring, I look forward to the day our Japanese Maple Tree begins to bloom. As they begin hatching and stretching out of their pods, the blooms take on various forms. These forms are anthropomorphized immediately by my metaphoric eyes… My human eyes detect familiar shapes and recognizable objects. Like an ink blot test, these forms take on a life of their own; to be interpreted by each viewer and unique viewpoint. A captivating and natural spectacle of light, color and enchantment…
