A Winthrop Gold-en Nature and Fall Post :)

If you missed my previous post, you might want to check it out in order to understand these finds completely. They are observations I made while my husband played at the United States Disc Golf Championship in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The course is called Winthrop Gold. There are many picturesque sites to photograph, but I found my eyes drawn to the tiny details; the details that enhance the beautiful backdrop and disc golf holes. I plan to keep this post short and sweet and let the photographs speak for themselves. The one thing I will make note of, however, is the beautiful orange fungi growing around a tree on hole two. This fungi garden was so beautiful, and I even overheard a comment by a disc golfer that it appeared as if it was tended to. It was gorgeous! An orange splendor of mushroom clusters scattered around and shaded by a beautiful tree. The vivid orange color popped against the earth-tones surrounding it. Two days later, unfortunately (but, perhaps also fortunately… I do not know what harm these mushrooms might cause), the mushrooms were sprinkled with powder and appeared dehydrated. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy these quirky finds!
