Let’s All Go to the Zoo!

My Kids Plus One in a Bird’s Nest at Zoo Atlanta. Digital photograph. Polly Nance. 2012.

My husband and I took our two kids to the zoo this past weekend. I don’t know about y’all, but I haven’t been to the zoo in about four years! It was great fun! Zoos sometimes make me sad because I don’t like seeing animals caged up and unable to roam free in the wild. However, Zoo Atlanta does a fantastic job of mimicking the animals’ habitats and sizing their “cages” appropriately. I’m going to let these photographs speak for themselves… they are mere snippets of all that we saw, but I do have one other upcoming post that reveals the other marvelous animals we discovered there. Hope you enjoy the pictures! 🙂
